Qualifications:
Strong purchasing and supply base management skills from a manufacturing background, experienced in contract and commodity negotiations, proven track record with cost reductions, able to manage/supervise a team. Successful candidates will be from a small lot/volume (job shop like) type of background; candidates that come from a large volume, large corporation type of background are not a good fit Looking for experience in one or more of the following process/materials areas - metal machining, fabrication, welding, rubber injection moldings.MUST HAVE A 4 YEAR TECHNICAL DEGREE. 7 years+ purchasing experience and MBA preferred. Engineering/technical degree or background is a plus. Also a plus to have lean purchasing experience and ERP system skills (SAP preferred) International purchasing experience is desirable.
